How we review products
Product reviews on Builder Gel Guide follow a fixed methodology. We do not publish a review unless we have actually used the product under the conditions we describe.
Selection
We choose products to review based on reader questions, market availability, and innovation. Brands cannot pay to be reviewed, and we do not accept paid placements.
Test period
Each product is tested for at least four weeks of normal wear, with at least one full application and one infill cycle. We use multiple testers where possible.
Structured notes
Every tester completes the same template: application feel, cure behaviour, wear progression, removal experience, and any skin or nail response.
Pros and cons
Pros and cons are drawn only from our own testing notes, never from manufacturer claims or aggregated user reviews.
Price and availability
Price ranges are checked at publication and re-checked at the last-reviewed date. We date-stamp every price observation.
